About

Born in a corrupt third-world country, cavyion has already achieved a major feat by thriving where opportunities are scarce, where the system feels rigged and survival isn’t guaranteed, where the rich only get richer; the poor, poorer. Despite all odds, cavyion, the award-winning, first generation Filipino artist-producer from Silang, Cavite first started recording his tracks while living in harsh conditions in his living room.

Beginning in 2020, in an emotional decline, frustrated with how unfair the world felt, he wondered why the world was so unfair and wanted to do something about it. cavyion then began stepping up his game by acquiring better gear to accommodate his needs, a budget AT2035 mic, a Focusrite Scarlett Solo, and a pair of Sony MDR-CD900STs. Even then, money was tight and the struggle never let up.

In 2024, he taught himself FL Studio because nobody was gonna do it for him. he’s producing, mixing, and mastering almost everything himself, with the occasional collab with friends in the scene.

He clearly has no need to make a name for himself. Escaping the struggle was already a victory, the rest is just part of figuring out who he is as an artist. Some days he’s just messing around in his bedroom, trying out new sounds, getting frustrated, and learning as he goes. Other days, he surprises himself with something that actually works. It’s all part of figuring out who he is as an artist.
